Our It would be easy to give up cultivating “live” experiences as digital behaviors continue to grow and “demand” our attention. Don’t fall victim to the trap. People need community, they need interaction, and they need to be inspired. The digital marketplace has driven organizations to “cut” costs, become more “efficient” and try to “survive”. These behaviors are exacerbating the problems, not eliminating them. Imagine if a consumer visits your space and you have scaled back your inventory, reduced you payroll, and become transaction focused. What will they “experience”? They made the effort to visit but yet the lack of inspiration, validation, and community pushes them back to digital behaviors.
